Giant Jenga Night

Last Saturday it was our last Summer event for TheCitySD and we had a game night. The guys were playing some videogames, we played Taboo and we ALL played Giant Jenga.
We had a blast as we celebrated our last summer event and now we are getting ready to celebrate TheCity's 1 year anniversary next month.
This summer was great all of our events were really fun and we got to meet a lot of new people.
Looking forward to next month's celebration.

Urban's Block Party

We had our first Block Party!
The weather was really really hot,we were literally melting, drinking lots and lots of water BUT that didn't stop the people from around the neighborhood to come out and enjoy the sunshine.

The past couple of weeks we went out and did some prayer walks were we hang some door hangers announcing the block party & our backpack drive and some people came out and donated not just backpacks but they were filled with school supplies for kids in need here in SD. It was awesome!

We had jumpers, BBQ fish tacos, lots of balloons, face painting and raffles! it was so much fun.
My favorite part was the Fish Tacos, the Sampo family donated their time and talents and we were all in awe with the flavor! I want more tacos!!!! ;)

After the block party some of us went home and got a little bit of rest before we were headed to our Giant Jenga Night!

Urban Christmas Party

We had our PIM Christmas party and we had such a wonderful time. It was wonderful having some time to connect with most of our Partners In Ministry.

Jo and I wore outfits with sequins, very festive I would say.I love Jo not only because she has great taste but because she is a great friend, I got to know her better this year and I enjoy doing life with her.

This year was fantastic and I cannot wait to see what 2012 will bring and look back to this post and see all the new PIM that will be added to the team.
