New Year's 2011

2011 was a GREAT year!!! 

It was our first holiday season as a married couple and it was fantastic, we spent time with our family and friends and I could not be any happier.

we are looking forward to 2012 and all the blessings and challenges that it will bring.

we are believing for an amazing year!

Urban Christmas Party

We had our PIM Christmas party and we had such a wonderful time. It was wonderful having some time to connect with most of our Partners In Ministry.

Jo and I wore outfits with sequins, very festive I would say.I love Jo not only because she has great taste but because she is a great friend, I got to know her better this year and I enjoy doing life with her.

This year was fantastic and I cannot wait to see what 2012 will bring and look back to this post and see all the new PIM that will be added to the team.

HoneyMoon in Paradise

Back in August of 2011 we went to Hawaii for our honeymoon. It was better than I expected. The water was gorgeous. We had friends who drove us around the Island (Thanks Lesley & Ryan) It was a great week.

Of course we could not go to Hawaii and NOT visit a Luau

When we got to this place we thought we wold go for a walk we did not know it was a 50min. hike in the middle of the day:/ even though we were exhausted it was a pleasant surprise the view was spectacular.

This place was so much fun! The wind is so strong there we almost fell backwards a couple of times.

The Dole pineapple plantation is a very fun place to visit.

The first day we were there we though we would stick to what we knew and had Denny's classics with a Hawaiian twist!

Sunsets in Hawaii are magical! I will definitely go back and visit again.

I am in awe of the Joy I have. We are finally married, we made it to Hawaii one of the places I've always wanted to visit. I can not deny the love of the Lord and his blessings in my life. 

God has always shown his hand and with love and now that I have married the love of my life I continue to see His hand in this new season of my life.

I am excited to see what God has in store for our marriage and in this new season we are starting together.

In the Beginning

This is how it all started, July 30th. 2011 I married my best friend

I started my day with a waffle breakfast at the Marriott Hotel with my friends Jen & Steph and it was very relaxing. We stayed the night before and had a girls night at the pool, our very own outdoor cabana and a long and much needed jacuzzi time.

That morning the bridesmaids and I got our hair and make up done.

Ceremony

Our Ceremony was a DREAM come true. Thank you Tasha for playing the harp for us, it was truly amazing. Thanks Jo & Caleb for coordinating our ceremony, you guys are a true blessing to our lives. Thanks Pastor Ben and Katie for being there for us.
