"REPLAY"

Last week I had a day off for Presidents Day and it felt good just to spend the day with my husband, we usually spend Saturday and Sunday all day together and during the week we go about our days at work and whatever other activities we have and only get to see each other evenings so it was nice to have a week day off together.

1|| We went grocery shopping, walk around the beach even though the weather was a little cold but it was the perfect opportunity to bundle up and walk down the beach hugging each other.

2|| It was a rainy week as well so i found myself drinking at least a cup of coffee a day, i need to go back to my tea, don't like to get used to too much coffee.

3|| Popcorn and a movie

4|| DIY manicure at home gold & Tangerine nails.

Youth Night

To kick off a new year with our youth group we had our first youth night
at our new location with our new name
"The Show"

I was really excited to have a night to worship and have a great time with our jr. high kids and youth leaders, our last event was back in November and had two months off to adjust to our new location and what not, but we are back!
Also, we couldn't pass the opportunity to sing Happy birthday to Eli & MIchelle and embarrass them a little with huge birthday hats :) 

Now for the rest of the year we have great nights out and about planned. I am excited to see what this year has in store for our youth.

Surprise Fiesta

The Monday before we celebrated Lucy & Michelle's birthday we celebrated Erin's. It was a pretty eventful week.

For Erin's birthday some friends organized a surprise Mexican Fiesta, we had tacos, mustaches, sombreros and we played a dance game on the wii. 

When Erin arrived to the party we all came out with our fake mustaches, yelled "Feliz Cumpleaños" and listen to some traditional mexican music for a little while and moved on to eat all the great food they had there. It was a very fun time..

Happy BIrthday Lucy + Michelle!!!!

Last weekend we celebrated two wonderful ladies, Lucy & Michelle

It is always so much fun when we get together with friends and celebrate together, we went to the Macaroni Grill in Eastlake and we pretty much took over the entire place, it was a lot of us therefore it was fantastic.

This restaurant it is one of my favorites, not only because the food is delicious but they give you crayons and you can draw all over the butcher paper they lay on top of the table and you cannot help it but to doodle all over it. Since it was an italian restaurant and had a cake for the birthday ladies we sand our traditional "Happy Birthday" and one of the waitresses came over and sang in Italian.

Even though my husband and I didn't get to it because they took a very very VERY long time to bring it out and it was so late and everyone was almost all done eating we truly enjoyed the company and the conversations.

My brother found this drawing somewhere in the Internet and It totally portraits who we are, I thought I'd share

This week was interesting... I missed being in school for the first time.

A lot of people told me this would happen, but I was so over it that I thought that would never happen to me, but it did. Now I work Monday-Friday and it kind of sort of feels like a routine but not in a bad way, so I had to find something to keep me on my toes.

Every morning I have plenty of time for my devotional, quiet time at home and even get some chores done before work.

I don't consider myself a morning person but I do like to get things done in the morning, since I don't go in to work until 1pm. 

I am very much enjoying this new season of my life and how much free time I have to spend with my husband now that I don't have homework, that I do not miss one bit.

Despite the moments where I find my self wondering what it is to come, I am always reminded every time I even dare to think about it, that God is in control and the more I seek Him the more I depend on Him and the more I know this is where I am supposed to be and as long as I am following Him I will always be walking in the right direction.

The first month of 2013 is over.

Lots of things going on, we had some cold days, but we also had beautiful weather and awesome sunsets. Our church moved to a new location.
