Sticky Teams Day1

Last week we went to the Sticky Teams Conference at North Coast Church. Our pastor's,staff & school of ministry, we all made it up there to spend two awesome days learning together.
Baby Antonella made it to the conference with us, it was awesome spending two days in a row with her.
We had a very good first day at the conference, I got something out of every session. The preachers were great and we all enjoyed diving deeper in to our roles as leaders.

Looking forward to Day2 !!!!

Sticky Teams Day2

Fo the second day we started bright and early and spent the majority of the day up there. We had 2 plenaries and one small break out sessions.
Everything was very practical, many great ideas to apply and it was definitely an eye opener to things that we could all improve in our ministries and our walk with God.
Spending two days straight with these awesome people really helped us bond and grow a little closer, I really love this season of my life and the people I do life with.
Cannot wait to implement some of the things we learned at the conference.

Manicures are fun

This month was a pretty busy one, I had something going on almost every day but I managed to get my nails done and that always relaxes me. Also the weather changed a lot, it is now getting chilly in the mornings so I get to wear scarves and sweater. I love it.
My color of the month was definitely "MInt" I don't know where it came from but suddenly I had it all over my clothes and  accessories.
I am looking forward to November & December, the holidays, family and lots of festivities.

Brunch with the girls

Last Saturday I had brunch with Mayra & Jo at Isabel's Cantina, which it is this small restaurant in Pacific Beach. We had a great time chatting and admiring Antonella's cuteness of course. The food was amazing, Jo & I ordered french toast (Which it is the best bfast item in the whole world according to me) and Mayra had pancakes and we all order the mexican chocolate which by the way was delicious.
It is great to be surrounded by women who encourage and support you always.
'Till next time ladies <3 p="p">

No Show Sunday

Last weekend we had a little surprise for the partners in ministry and the rest of the church when our pastor decided not to set up the church Sunday. You gotta remember that we are a portable church and we meet at the San Diego Unified School District and we have to set up EVERYTHING Friday night.
So it was really funny to see everyone who came on Friday night to set up and didn't know what was going on. But still, to make it look like nobody showed up a few people had to show up and make it happen. I love my church.
It was a great experiment because the next Friday a lot more people showed up to help once they realized that it is a lot of work involved every week to make it happen.

Antonella

I finally got a picture with beautiful Antonella
I love this baby girl so much, it has been a great honor to see her grow and how different she looks week by week.
I don't know what she was looking at in this puncture, maybe I had something weird hahaha but we finally have a picture together!

Sunday Funday

My Sunday started at church as usual,
but as mentioned here before Amanda is leaving to Nashville on wednesday so! we had a little cake party with two gorgeous cakes.
on the TOP picture: Maria Ortiz made a vanilla cake & on the BOTTOM picture is Jessica Picken's chocolate cake, they were both incredible.
The church wanted to honor Amanda's faithfulness and talent so we gave her a banjo, she had been wanting to get one and now she is well equipped to start her professional career with a brand new banjo.
After church I went home for a bit before  going  to Jo's house where we had Jess' bridal party.
An evening with the ladies from church is priceless, we had a potluck of finger food and desserts, mocktails games and a lot of gifts for the bride to be.
It was a lot of fun but I ended up exhausted!
I LOVE SUNDAYS

We will miss you Amanda!

Last Saturday we had one last dinner with our friend Amanda before she leaves this Wednesday to pursue her career singing Country music in Nashville.
It was a bittersweet time but it is very inspiring to see her pursue her dream and we know God is going to use her wherever she is at.

I cannot wait to hear her music in my favorite Country radio station!
