Baseball fun.

After a week of being home sick I really needed to get out of the house and we got tickets for the baseball game.
It was very nice to get out of the house with my husband and walk around downtown and enjoy some baseball. we had tons of fun people watching, enjoying the weather and just spending some quality time outside our place, we love every time we get to do something out of the ordinary.
This was a great start to our summer, I am on summer vacation and I am looking forward to all the summer activities we get to do and cannot wait for my husband to be on summer break also pretty soon!

lunch at the beach

We have had a heat wave and lately it is a little hard to stay home all day in this heat since we don't have AC. So it depends on the day and how busy we are we head over to the mall or the beach. 

Today my husband and I  decided to meet up at the beach after work. I made sandwiches and we had lunch there.

It was a nice quiet afternoon at the beach with my husband before our weekly Bible Study, but little did I know when we were all done and ready to head to our bible study my car didn't start :/ so I had to call my insurance and wait for them to come and jump start my car. Thank God they didn't take too long but we still couldn't make it. 

Over all it was  a great day. 

Roscoe's

Last night we went to LA to see AmandaJo perform. It was a lot of fun. Michelle & Erin drove with us and on our way back home we had to stop at Roscoe's to try the famous Chicken n Waffles!!! It was my first time eating there and I had great company to share it with.

Amanda in LA

Our dearest friend Amanda performed last Sunday in LA and it was AMAZING. We get to listen to her beautiful voice every Sunday but to see her perform is a whole different story.
It was a fun night listening to different bands, great musicians, some great voices and not so great ones as well, but Amanda was by far the best performance of the night.
We are so proud to see her doing what she loves the most and it is a privilege to have her as a friend!

Concert at The Park

The Organ Pavillion

We went to a concert at Balboa Park, every year they offer free concerts at the Organ Pavilion with local bands and a lot of people that come and enjoy great music and a fantastic view of the Organ Pavilion

This was our first time coming and we were glad we did. We had a fantastic time with our friends, shared delicious caramel corn made by The Pickens and great conversations after the sun was down.
My favorite part of the concert was the sing along of the Sound of Music movie theme songs

I definitely recommend the concerts at the park if you are in the area.

San Felipe

The family and I took a little road trio to San Felipe this month.

The weather was so nice we spent the day at the pool and the beach. Even though the ocean is super salty we could not let the opportunity to swim in it since I can not do so here in SD because the water is freezing. The weekend went by really fast, we had a lot of fun.

At night time we went walking downtown San Felipe and the pier and it is such a great walk because everyone is out here walking, dancing, singing and it is just an all around great experience.

My dad & my brother invited us for a walk to Coronado. My husband and I went and we had a great time walking around the main street where all the little shops are and we couldn't leave our camera at home so my husband was taking lots of pictures. 

We love to make our own graphics for TheCitySD so every opportunity we get to take pictures of different backgrounds, textures we take it. 

It was a great day, the weather was nice, we had a little bit of wind but we didn't mind.

My husband loves monkeys (Fun Fact) so he gets really excited whenever he sees something monkey! on the picture of the left he found this keyboard toy that was super loud and decided to carry it with him and play it the whole time we were walking around the store! 

Last week my friend Mayra took me out to celebrate my birthday and before we went home she took me to the World Market in Downtown and I had never been there before, I fell in love with it AND yesterday my husband took me to Grossmont Center because we were driving by there and I wanted to get a bobba milk tea and as we were walking in to the mall we discovered another World Market.

We walked around every single isle and we were just having a lot of fun exploring the store. It has a lot of very unusual items, and it is very interesting to see so much variety in one store, I loved it, I wanted EVERYTHING! 

I told him if he ever wonders what to get me for my birthday, anniversary, Christmas or just because anything from there will be just perfect!

We were in there for a while just passing some time, since for the first time in a while we had some FREE time to spare. I will definitely be back very soon.

Birthday Fun

JUNE 11 2012

My birthday#26 was great! we started celebrating Sunday (June10) we went to eat after church to Buca Di Beppo and came home and watch some movies.

My day started at 12am with a midnight birthday card from my husband, we finished watching a movie around 11:30pm the night before and just staid up until midnight. 

I spend the day out with ny husband at Seaport Village, I love going there we always walk around the shops, take pictures and have ice cream before we leave.

My husband spoiled me every minute of the day from breakfast in the morning till the day was over. 

We went to one of our favorite restaurants for dinner, we went to Claim Jumper. Dinner was delicious. It was a very low key day and the most important part is that we spent the whole day together. 

It was GREAT!
