Z's {FIRST} birthday party.

After many many MANY months of planning and prepping, Zara had her first birthday party and it was so much fun!

My husband and I love throwing parties, so when Zara turned one we went a little crazy. We had a lot of of help from sweet people who helped us made this party come to life. 

We are so blessed to have friends and family who love our daughter as much as we do. Thank you so much to everyone who came and celebrated our daughter's first year and for being a part of her life thus far. 

The first year has been a roller coaster of emotions and a learning process that we are still trying to figure out. God ha been so gracious and has placed awesome people in our lives that have been a key element to our sanity and we are forever thankful. 

Cheers to the first year of many many more to come! 

picnic at the park

For my birthday my girlfriends Mayra and Jo (whom by the way found out this month that she is pregnant also!!!) took me to the Twilight at the park and we had a lovely picnic at the steps while we listen to latin music and watched people dance. 

It was a lot of fun! and since Mayra forgot the cheesecake at home we had to light a candle on a little straw pastry.

It was a very nice birthday treat, Thank You ladies!!!

birthday fun with glasses

My brothers and I surprised mom with an ice cream cake and a funny glasses party, since she had to work that morning and dad was going to be at work in the evening we had a little time with her.

we laughed, ate pizza and cake while watching a movie we really enjoy the little moments.

Of course we all got together the next day to celebrate my mom's and my birthday but I didn't take any pictures, why I don't know, but this year there is no proof that I celebrated my 27th birthday.

awe well, I have the memories and the laughs and that's what counts, right...right?

Disney California Aventure

For my brother's birthday we went to Disney California Adventure it was my husband's and I first time there, we had a great time.

 A day out with the family is always a lot of fun, and to spend it with them at Disneyland was even better!
We went on a Sunday, we all took the day off and the weather was perfect, we went on every single ride we wanted to get on and we laughed super hard.
I felt like a little girl going on every ride, the anticipation, and all the fun sharing it with my husband was just priceless.
we couldn't have chosen a better place to celebrate Pako's 25th Birthday!!!!
