Christmas Road Trip

This year we spent Christmas Eve with my extended family in Mexicali and the road gave us a beautiful view, first the heavy fog and then the beautiful blue sky:
I love taking pictures of foggy days and gray skies because we don't get enough of those days here in San Diego and I love them, of course I love our sunshine and paradise weather we get almost all year but when I get a glimpse of those days where I can wear my favorite scarves I am thrilled.

Roscoe's

Last night we went to LA to see AmandaJo perform. It was a lot of fun. Michelle & Erin drove with us and on our way back home we had to stop at Roscoe's to try the famous Chicken n Waffles!!! It was my first time eating there and I had great company to share it with.

Amanda in LA

Our dearest friend Amanda performed last Sunday in LA and it was AMAZING. We get to listen to her beautiful voice every Sunday but to see her perform is a whole different story.
It was a fun night listening to different bands, great musicians, some great voices and not so great ones as well, but Amanda was by far the best performance of the night.
We are so proud to see her doing what she loves the most and it is a privilege to have her as a friend!
You go Amanders!!!!!!

Anniversary No.1

For our anniversary No.1 my husband & I drove to Vegas, it was a fun couple of days.
{Warning! picture overload}
We had been to Vegas before but never together, so this was a great experience, to be able to travel together and spend all day every day was just great. We visited every hotel, took lots of pictures and had an amazing time.

About an hour and a half into driving I realized I forgot my camera, I was so disappointed because I love to take pictures, but my phone saved us, that is why the quality of the photographs aren't the greatest but we still captured our first anniversary and that is what matters.

We have so many people around us who are a great blessing to our lives, first of all our parents and family, but also unconditional friends who are always there for us.

We are very blessed with friends who are not just there when things are going well, but always there to share their experiences, advice and lectures when they are necessary but most importantly they lead by example and we look up to them.
So for this trip we had the opportunity to go see the "Blue Man Group" thanks to the Bielden family. The show was great and we had a blast.
Also, Jo & Caleb made a reservation to a great restaurant for our anniversary dinner and it was delicious! Thanks guys!
Our first year of marriage has been wonderful, I am grateful for the wonderful man of God I have by my side and for the learning experience this year has been, We look forward to many many years more together. I could not have asked for a better husband.

Celebrating Grandma

HAPPY B*DAY to my Grandma!
We drove to Mexicali to celebrate my grandma's birthday with the family. It is always a trat when we make it down there because not only I enjoy the ride over there but the weather, even though my husband doesn't like ht weather he was a champ and went with me.
Grandma was showered with gifts and love from all of us. We had a great time. Too bad we had to come back the same day.

Mini Road Trip

Back in January my husband and I went to Julian for a nice day out.
It was fun leaving the City for a day and just enjoy a quiet atmosphere out there. We got to sing out loud in the car and admire the scenery, take lots of pictures and reflecting on how great is our Lord and think about how wide and deep is His love.
