TheCitySD turns ONE

 This month we celebrated ONE YEAR with TheCitySD

After having a series of summer events we went back to our church location and had two amazing youth group bands play with us.

We worshiped, played games, ate cake and had a great time celebrating an amazing year of ministry.

We could not have done it without all the leaders and people who volunteer their time.

We are looking forward to an even greater year.

Giant Jenga Night

Last Saturday it was our last Summer event for TheCitySD and we had a game night. The guys were playing some videogames, we played Taboo and we ALL played Giant Jenga.
We had a blast as we celebrated our last summer event and now we are getting ready to celebrate TheCity's 1 year anniversary next month.
This summer was great all of our events were really fun and we got to meet a lot of new people.
Looking forward to next month's celebration.

Last Saturday we had a bonfire at Coronado Beach and it was so much fun. The Beach was packed but we got a very good spot and hang out there all day.

We played volleyball, frisbee, we ate tons of chips and hot dogs and when the sun came down we started the bonfire to make S'mores.

There were tons of marshmallows, crackers, chocolate, music and great conversations. Since it was on a Saturday and the fire pits at the beach are limited we opted for bringing our own so we didn't have to worry about it.

Thanks everyone for coming out. It was a fun day at the beach with awesome people.

Spa Night

After weeks of planning and two days of setting up we had our first Girl Spa Night for TheCitySD. 

It was so much fun, everything was lovely and everyone had a great time. 

Manicures, pedicures, facials, wax, chocolate fondue & great company! I will do it all over again!!! O

The Photo booth was my favorite, even though the camera was out of focus and nobody noticed until I uploaded the pictures on to my computer, but still, it was great.

The hardest part was setting everything up with just 2 girls helping me out but we managed to get it done just in time before everyone got there. 

Once all the girls were getting their nails done and chatting over some fondue while getting a pedicure done all the hard work was worth it.

It took me two entire days to recuperate and feel normal again, I was exhausted but my friend Mayra was a trooper and staid by my side the whole time. Thank You.

And of course I had all the wonderful ladies from TheCitySD helping out during the event and tearing down.

I cannot wait for our next event.

Summer Fun

This summer has been one of the busiest summers so far, and I'm only a few weeks in to it.
I am planning a babyshower, a Bridal shower and soon my friends & I will start planning a bachelorette party for my newly engaged friend.
but I can't complain! every activity, every meeting and every event planned for this summer is a blessing!
We also have events planned for every month this summer @TheCitySD .

The City {May}

Since September of last year, my husband and I have been hosting TheCitySD at church. We meet once a month, the third Saturday of every month, and we play games, worship, hear a short message & have a lot of FUN! this month we had a Fruit Ninja tournament and it was hilarious.

Our theme was "The Beach" in order to kick off our upcoming summer events

and of course Mayra & I could not resist taking some pictures with our beach props!!!

Can't wait for next month, as we will be hosting a girl's Spa night! I am so excited.
